Job Title: Senior People Analytics & Insights Engineer The Senior People Analytics & Insights Engineer plays a critical role in delivering trusted, scalable analytics solutions to stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition and Executive teams. Working closely with data engineering, you’ll help shape data models and pipelines that serve as the foundation for workforce dashboards, self-service analytics, and predictive models. You’ll design user-centric tools that empower leaders to explore data, gain insights, and make better decisions — powered by platforms like Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and Tableau. You will: Collaborate with data engineering to define and refine scalable data models and semantic layers using tools like dbt, Atlan, and BigQuery. Build and maintain intuitive dashboards in Tableau that provide actionable insights across HR, Talent and organizational effectiveness domains. Develop and deploy ML models using AutoML and BigQuery ML to support attrition forecasting, workforce planning, metrics, and performance insights. Translate HR and business requirements into analytics products that are accessible, performant, and easy to adopt. Design AI-powered, self-service tools that help People teams and leaders make informed decisions at scale. Ensure governance, documentation, and privacy standards are consistently applied when working with sensitive employee data. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to align analytics solutions with people strategy. Lead cross-functional people analytics projects that enable data-informed leadership. Contribute to Client’s long-term data and people analytics strategy by defining best practices and scalable solutions. Your team will: Partner with HR, Talent, and Executive teams to design scalable analytics solutions that unlock workforce insights, optimize employee experience, and support a culture of data-informed leadership. The team plays a critical role in ensuring people data products are trusted, secure, and designed to scale—combining technical excellence with human-centered impact. About you: 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, or data science roles, with 2+ years focused on people analytics or workforce data. Hands-on experience building dashboards in Tableau or a similar BI tool. Strong SQL proficiency and experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses. Familiarity with data modeling tools like dbt and experience collaborating with data engineering teams. Experience with AutoML, BigQuery ML, or other low-code/no-code ML tools. Understanding of people metrics such as retention, engagement, headcount, hiring funnels, DEI indicators, and performance management. Knowledge of data governance principles and handling of confidential data with discretion. Ability to simplify complex business questions into scalable data solutions. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or data-related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Skills: Experience with AI agent frameworks, conversational BI, or natural language query interfaces. Familiarity with workforce planning models, organizational health indicators, or DEI analysis frameworks. Prior experience working in a cloud-native data stack (e.g., GCP). Experience promoting self-service analytics adoption across HR and business teams. Seniority level
