Director of Finance

to play a key leadership role in shaping the financial strategy andhealth of our organization. You will be responsible for financial planning & analysis (FP&A), managementand venue-level reporting, and overseeing RPM’s P&L, balance sheet, and inventory controls, andmaintaining key relationships with banks and investors. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and leadership experience—ideally in a multi-unit or retail setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Architect and optimize the financial data environment to reduce manual processes and enhance real-time analytics across the platform. • Close books on monthly basis and on-time in partnership with controller and accounting team. • Design, build, and maintain dynamic reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.) to track revenue, margin, expenses, KPIs, and business performance. • Integrate data from ERP systems and other practice-level platforms into a centralized reporting structure. • Produce and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to management & GM teams to guide strategic decision-making. • Analyze trends across location performance, operational efficiency, service lines, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights. • Deliver ad hoc financial models and scenario planning tools to support strategic initiatives • Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A) including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. • Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to support growth initiatives. • Implement best practices for resource allocation and labor management to optimize team productivity. • Manage inventory controls and purchasing activities for parts, supplies, and equipment related Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels, minimizing waste and ensuring cost efficiency. • Perform other duties as requested by management IDEALLY YOU’LL HAVE: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred). • 5–7+ years of experience in FP&A, data analytics, or strategic finance—preferably in multi-site retail. • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools. • Proven track record of implementing and improving FP&A systems and processes in a growth environment. • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and implement process improvements. • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems. • May require occasional travel to other sites as needed to support operations, provide training, and assist with openings or transitions.
