Galaxy is seeking a Systems Architect with a strong background in network engineering within financial services, high-frequency trading, or other ultra-low latency environments. You possess a deep understanding of routing and switching protocols, as well as network monitoring tools. You are a problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. What Youll Do:
Architect and optimize multicast and unicast LANs and WANs to support high-frequency trading applications with minimal latency. Develop, deploy, and maintain network automation tools to streamline configuration, monitoring, and performance analysis. Identify and mitigate sources of network latency; continuously optimize infrastructure to meet low-latency trading requirements. Implement advanced monitoring solutions to track network performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time, ensuring high availability and reliability with the lowest possible latency. Collaborate with trading, development, and infrastructure teams to align network infrastructure with business requirements for performance and scalability. Provide expertise to diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to latency and traffic drops. Liaise with hardware and software vendors to ensure optimal solutions and upgrades for high-performance trading environments. What Were Looking For:
Experience with low latency interconnects and design. Deep knowledge of hardware and operating systems. Storage area network design and support experience. 8+ years of experience in design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium to large fleets. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing server configurations and deployments as code. What We Offer:
