Position Summary
Walmart's Enterprise Business Services (EBS) comprises seven teams delivering technology solutions that impact Walmart globally. As part of Walmart Global Tech, our teams focus on operational excellence and emerging technologies to support millions of customers and associates worldwide. The Feedback platform is a full-stack Generative AI team within the People function, dedicated to empowering over 2.2 million associates globally through AI-driven solutions that enhance productivity, well-being, and belonging. We develop systems like RAG-based knowledge Q&A, HR automation interfaces, and text-to-SQL analytics. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to enhance observability, automation, and scalability of these systems, utilizing expertise in Python, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and MLOps to support Walmart’s evolving workforce needs.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with Software Engineers to develop innovative solutions.
Develop scalable, personalized experiences using product requirements, GenAI technology, and software architecture.
Partner with product and business leaders to align ML solutions with organizational goals.
Work cross-functionally with product, science, and engineering teams.
Manage dependencies across teams to ensure streamlined development.
Identify and mitigate risks in the software development lifecycle.
Implement testing frameworks and maintenance protocols for system reliability.
Leverage cloud architectures and platforms for ML model deployment.
Apply MLOps best practices for CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.
Stay updated on the latest in machine learning and cloud technologies.
What You'll Bring
Deep knowledge of Python and its principles; some experience with JavaScript.
Leadership in maintaining high code quality standards.
Experience in architecture design and building scalable ML pipelines.
Proficiency with API design, distributed systems, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, Kafka, Airflow, SQL.
Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals.
Passion for GenAI, MLOps, and staying current with technological advancements.
