Director of Spa Full-Time Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel The Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel is looking for a Spa Director who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This position has the opportunity to shape guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned hotel. The Spa Director reports to the Hotel Manager. Work authorization for the location is required. Responsibilities The Spa Director is in charge of a team that consists of lead therapists, therapists, attendants and coordinators. This leader establishes treatment protocols for cutting edge spa treatments and massage therapies, conducts professional training, creates budgets, manages the Spa menu and leads by example. Creative problem-solving skills are essential. Administrative duties include payroll, team schedules, inventory, among others. The Spa Director oversees the Fitness, Pool, Spa & Retail operations of the hotel. 5 years of luxury hotel experience is preferred. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required. Manage and oversee the Spa, Fitness, and Pool Departments and all they entail. Supervise professional personnel such as Ayurvedic doctors, Herbalists, Medical Practitioners, etc. Maintain operating standards/spa concepts and coordinate scheduling of all Spa & fitness services, ensuring consistency with policies, philosophy, and objectives. Provide clear instructions and guidance to staff, fostering high employee morale. Develop programs and policies to attract and retain high performers and high-potential managers. Oversee cleanliness of the Spa, pool, and fitness areas, coordinating with Housekeeping, Laundry, and Engineering. Implement emergency response procedures to ensure safety of staff and guests. Predict trends and adapt accordingly for the benefit of the business. Liaise with Public Relations to promote the Spa, pool, fitness, and treatments/philosophies. Develop programs, marketing initiatives, and promotions to increase revenue, enhance guest experience, and encourage repeat visits. Create Wellness and Fitness experiences aligned with guest interests and abilities. Establish partnerships with vendors for products, equipment, and supplies, including pricing, support, training, and promotions. Schedule staff and manage payroll and reports within budget guidelines. Administer department materials, inventory, and assets for smooth operations. Provide recommendations on budgets, investments, and financial performance, with supporting data. Promote growth through increased revenue and operational efficiency while maintaining high morale.
