NSC Staffing is seeking an experienced Painter / Blaster for a crucial upcoming project in San Diego, CA. We seek candidates with 3-10 years of experience and a strong understanding of shipboard and industrial/commercial painter/blaster practices, particularly in military and industrial environments.
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a painter/blaster.
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Painter/Blaster to join our team. In this role, you will perform blasting and painting operations using marine coatings by specified contract requirements. You will need a solid understanding of blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and millage requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Execute blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision. Demonstrate proficiency in connecting airlines to the manifold and applying coatings on horizontal, vertical, and side surfaces. Perform sandblasting and effectively utilize all components of blasting equipment. Identify and rectify any deficiencies in blasting and painting to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a painter/blaster in a marine or industrial setting. Comprehensive knowledge of blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and millage requirements. Ability to perform all blasting functions and applications with precision. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and correct deficiencies in blasting and painting processes. Preferred Qualifications:
