The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to engage with client leadership, and a proven track record of modernizing IT infrastructure, driving cloud adoption, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role requires expertise in hybrid cloud environments, AI/IoMT infrastructure, healthcare data security, and regulatory compliance to support mission-critical healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions for healthcare providers.

• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for EHRs, clinical applications, and enterprise systems.

• Architect and manage hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) tailored for healthcare workloads.

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning (BCP) for critical healthcare systems.

• Enable edge computing, IoMT infrastructure, and real-time data processing for connected healthcare environments.

Client Engagement & Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership (CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and IT Directors) on cloud and infrastructure strategy.

• Lead technical workshops, strategy sessions, and stakeholder discussions to align IT infrastructure with business objectives.

• Provide thought leadership on cloud adoption, AI infrastructure, and next-gen healthcare IT architecture.

• Guide clients on change management, cost optimization, and value realization from cloud investments.

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Ensure HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, GDPR, and NIST compliance for cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

• Implement zero-trust security models, identity & access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection strategies.

• Define and enforce governance frameworks for cloud resource provisioning, monitoring, and cost management.

• Oversee network security, vulnerability management, and threat detection in healthcare IT environments.

Interoperability & Integration

• Architect secure, high-performance integrations between cloud platforms, EHR/EMR systems (Cerner, Meditech, etc.), and third-party applications.

• Enable FHIR, HL7, and API-based interoperability for seamless healthcare data exchange.

• Optimize network infrastructure (SD-WAN, VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute) for healthcare data transmission.

AI & High-Performance Computing (HPC) Infrastructure

• Design AI-ready infrastructure to support medical imaging AI, NLP-driven clinical documentation, and predictive analytics.

• Implement GPU-accelerated computing for deep learning applications in radiology, pathology, and genomics.

• Optimize cloud and edge infrastructure for real-time AI inferencing and IoMT device data processing.

Performance Optimization & Reliability Engineering

• Drive performance optimization strategies for cloud-based healthcare applications and workloads.

• Implement observability, monitoring, and incident response frameworks using AIOps and automation.

• Lead capacity planning, cost optimization, and workload automation to improve operational efficiency.
