Role: Power BI Financial Data Analyst
Salary: $80K to $110K
A respected, multi-state healthcare provider headquartered in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Power BI Financial Data Analyst to join its growing team. This individual must be a business-savvy data professional with strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of Power BI, and the ability to independently drive executive-level insights.

Are you based in Louisville, KY ? Are you fluent in Power BI , with experience building executive dashboards independently? Do you have strong experience in SQL (T-SQL), writing queries that power dashboards? Can you translate between finance, business, and data , understanding concepts like AR, budgeting, and month-end reporting? Have you worked in this exact type of role for 3-5+ years in a corporate setting ? Summary We're looking for a Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Data Analyst with a strong finance background who can hit the ground running with financial reporting (e.g., AR aging) and maintain SQL-driven data pipelines into a Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse environment. This role blends hands-on Power BI and SQL expertise with finance fluency to turn data into actionable insights and support our transition to a modern data warehouse framework. Key Responsibilities
Understand business operations and KPIs; translate financial questions into actionable data requirements Develop Lakehouse/Warehouse models and star schemas Build automated ETL pipelines using Data Factory or Fabric Dataflows Design, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX Apply math/statistics to identify trends, anomalies, and performance metrics Create, document, and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and data views Partner with business and finance teams to communicate insights clearly and effectively Enforce data governance, naming conventions, and compliance (e.g., SOX/PCI) Qualifications
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting Business or Finance degree (or equivalent experience) Advanced Power BI skills: workspace governance, visuals, DAX (time intelligence, aggregation) Strong SQL/T-SQL knowledge: complex joins, PIVOT, cursors, stored procs Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric tools: Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory Experience in ETL, data modeling, and ensuring data quality Ideal Traits
