Role Name: Data Analyst/Business Analyst
Location: Newark / Newark / Hybrid
Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and detail them in User Stories. • Identify gaps in business process and process inefficiencies and tracking them for solutions. • Assist in project scoping, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Data Analysis • Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets from legacy data sources. • Build and maintain data dictionary and data traceability from legacy sources to other applications. • Develop and maintain data models and build requirements for converting into APIs/microservices.
Collaboration & Communication • Work closely with Product Owner & technical teams to share requirements and address gaps via JIRA. • Work with operations teams to gather requirements and maintain a traceability of the data elements.
Qualifications: • 2-5 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst and/or Data Analyst role. • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel. • Experience with statistical tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS) is a plus. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Working experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a must.
Preferred Skills: • Experience working in Life Insurance Industry. • Experience in detailing user stories in JIRA. • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus. • Experience with supporting testing tasks(QA and UAT)
