Job Title: Janitor
Pay Details: The starting hourly rate for this position is $22.50 per hour.
Janitors are responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for our guests and employees throughout multiple buildings. Your role will require you to be in collaboration with fellow team members, Leads/ Supervisors, and Managers. This is a part-time position that is physically demanding and requires adhering to specific time-sensitive deadlines. Shifts will fluctuate based on the building schedule but are frequently overnight (3rd Shift Graveyard). This position requires you to work with cleaning chemicals, supplies, machinery, and possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Responsibilities
Cleaning will include but not limited to: Floors, aisles, and seats Picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Restocking items for the restroom, including paper products, and cleaning toilets Scrubbing and polishing marble floors Doors, Windows, and Elevators Trash Collection and Recycling Metal Polishing Deep Carpet Cleaning and Waxing floor Disinfecting the building Operating Cleaning machines Locations include:
Arena, Restrooms, Backstage areas, Restaurant facilities, Kitchens, Locker Rooms, Offices, and Parking lots
Skills
Ability to understand & follow directions Adhering to all protocols and use of safety equipment with the use of personal protective equipment Chemical knowledge with storage and disposal Ability to learn and adapt quickly Works well with others, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with team members Strong verbal communication skills Ability to stand for long periods Flexible and adaptable to different tasks as assigned Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Efficiently maneuvering through the buildings Support Operations departments as needed Report equipment damages and safety issues to the manager on duty Attend safety and training classes required by the Organization (Paid by the Company)
