Forklift Operator And Material Handler
Join our team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, where you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, pulling materials from inventory to production lines, and preparing materials for shipping. As you grow in this role, you will have the opportunity to cross-train in other areas of the shop, such as warehouse cleaning or machine operation. Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks efficiently. Pull materials from inventory to production lines. Prepare materials for shipping. Assist in cleaning the warehouse. Operate machinery as required after cross-training. Essential Skills
1+ year experience with sit-down forklifts, preferably within the metals industry. 6+ months of material handling experience. Ability to move large, irregularly shaped materials comfortably. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a warehouse setting. General labor and driving experience. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally. Why Work Here?

Work in a small, organized metal distributor with a team of about 12 floor staff. The facility is equipped with saws that may be noisy during operation. Spacious walkways accommodate metal rods up to 15 feet long. The climate-controlled environment remains cool, particularly when trucks arrive and the 'garage' style doors are open. This position is on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with two paid 15-minute breaks. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift for 1-2 weeks from 6am to 2:30pm. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
