Position Description:
Neurosurgery Faculty - Open Rank
The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a Neurosurgeon to join our team in beautiful Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This clinical faculty role requires a combination of teaching, patient care, and research. Specialized facilities are available to diagnose and treat tumors of the nervous system. A multidisciplinary Adult Brain Tumor Clinic involves collaboration between neurosurgeons, radiotherapists and oncologists. Stereotactic facilities are available to allow biopsy and direct implantation of radioactive treatment sources.
The MCW Department of Neurosurgery has a long history of advancing the field of neurological surgery through world-class adult and pediatric clinical care, groundbreaking research, and innovative education. The clinical faculty utilize surgical and non-surgical methods to treat disorders in the skull, brain, spine, spinal cord, spinal nerves, and peripheral nerves. Our research faculty are nationally and internationally recognized for their contributions across a broad array of neurologic and neurosurgical disease states, including neurotrauma, neuro-oncology, spinal disorders, neurovascular, epilepsy, and more.
