Position is full-time, 40 hours a week, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts. The Operating Room features five up-to-date suites and a sixth in the labor and delivery department. The team consists of registered nurses, registered nurse first assists, surgical technologists, and other assistive personnel providing care within surgical services. Patient population includes both inpatients and outpatients undergoing various surgical, diagnostic, invasive, and special procedures. Surgical services primarily include orthopedic and trauma procedures, with additional services such as ENT and cataract removal surgeries, along with C-sections. Experience with ENT, cataracts, and C-sections is not required but candidates must be willing to be trained for these surgeries. Patient ratios in the operating room are maintained at 1:1. Call requirements may include evenings, holidays, and weekends. BLS certification is mandatory for all candidates.
