Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) Location: Klamath Falls, OR Start Date: August 27, 2025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 6x12 hrs, Nights/Rotating

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Klamath Falls, OR. The ER RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, ensuring high-quality care during critical and emergent situations. This is a 13-week contract offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team in a leading healthcare facility.

Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Oregon (or compact state eligible). - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, TNCC. - Minimum of 1-2 years ER experience in an acute care setting preferred. - Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills. - Must meet health compliance requirements: COVID vaccination, recent PPD test or Chest X-Ray. - Must successfully pass background check(s) and drug screening.

Duties & Responsibilities - Provide triage, assessment, and treatment to patients with urgent and emergent conditions. - Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as required. - Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in medical records. - Operate and monitor emergency equipment and respond promptly to code situations. - Educate patients and families on treatment plans, follow-up care, and health management. - Uphold infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies at all times.
