SUMMARY:
ProFarm Group (PFG) is a subsidiary of Bioceres Crop Solutions, a global provider of biologically derived fertilizers, inoculants, crop traits, adjuvants, biostimulants and pesticides, serving the ever-expanding agricultural markets. PFG focuses on discovering, developing, and marketing nature-derived biostimulants, as well as pest management products from microbes and plant extracts for the effective control of invertebrate pests, weeds, and plant diseases.
Pro Farm Group is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Regional Account Manager (RAM) to drive sales growth and strengthen strategic relationships within a defined geographic region. This role combines territory sales management with targeted account oversight, offering a unique opportunity to both lead front-line commercial activity and deepen Pro Farm's influence across key stakeholders in the agricultural retail ecosystem.
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales of Pro Farm's innovative biological and crop protection platforms while building long-term partnerships with regional decision-makers and mid-level management leaders across distribution, private brands, and retail networks.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Own sales performance and growth targets for an assigned territory
  • Manage the sales cycle from demand generation through fulfillment and support
  • Build strong relationships with retailers, agronomists, and local influencers
  • Execute product positioning and local market development activities
  • Deliver training and technical support to channel partners and growers
  • Maintain CRM data, manage forecasts, and report pipeline activity
  • Serve as the primary relationship lead for 1-2 prioritized accounts within the region
  • Engage with Area Managers, Private Brand Leads, and Retail Leadership to identify growth levers
  • Align Pro Farm product and platform solutions with strategic objectives of partner accounts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Tech Services, Product Management) to tailor engagement plans
  • Influence mid-level management to support regional adoption and execution
  • Drive adoption of Pro Farm's product platforms through direct and indirect sales channels
  • Expand reach and visibility of Pro Farm solutions within key regional retail networks
  • Cultivate multi-level relationships within the customer organization (from field staff to middle management)
  • Capture and communicate market intelligence, product feedback, and competitive insights
  • Represent Pro Farm at trade shows, grower meetings, and strategic account planning sessions
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Business, Ag Economics or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum 10+ years of sales or account management experience in agriculture
  • Strong understanding of crop inputs, biologicals, and/or ag retail distribution networks
  • Proven ability to balance tactical execution with strategic relationship building
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and manage complex territories
Travel requirements
  • Travel up to 30% expected; Mix of road and air travel within the assigned geography.
