Cooper Farms is currently seeking a weekend Reliability Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Van Wert.
The primary goal of this position is to perform major rebuilds and play integral role in all projects involving equipment.
$$ 1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$
(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $250 at thirty days, $250 at sixty days and $500 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination).
SHIFT HOURS: 12 hours every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (exact times TBD) & 4 hours on Monday
STARTING RATE: From $65,000/yr
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

- Perform machine rebuilds.
- Troubleshoot and repair complicated machine issues.
- Ensure completion of all jobs and maintain an accurate log of work.
- Engineer and fabricate machine upgrades and repairs.
- Ensure all equipment is ready for start-up on Monday mornings.
- Rebuild parts for equipment (motor, gearbox, heaters, etc.)
- Prior maintenance and/or rebuild experience
- Thorough understanding of control and safety wiring
- Strong fabrication and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer knowledge and competency
