EMAT & UTCD Data Analyst Level 3
to join our team in Calgary, Canada. PIPECARE Group has been providing technology and service-focused solutions to the international oil and gas industry for over 20 years, helping our customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets. Due to our global growth, we are seeking an experienced EMAT & UT/UTCD Data Analyst [Level 3] to support our ongoing expansion. The successful candidate will work with our project teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of in-line inspection results, focusing on our tailored reporting solutions to meet customer needs. Responsibilities include reviewing customer specifications, processing data, analyzing pipeline features and anomalies, applying industry assessment criteria, ensuring quality and accuracy, and compiling comprehensive reports. Certification in EMAT technology [Level 3] Experience:
Minimum 15+ years as an EMAT Data Analyst Other Requirements:
Solution-oriented attitude, hands-on approach, disciplined, team player, self-motivated Responsibilities include: Checking and approving tool performance during PTT Assessing data quality of ILI runs EMAT Data Analysis (valid or expired ASNT Level III or II Certificate) Conducting dig verification tasks and preparing reports Reviewing software interfaces and manuals Preparing and reviewing DAD quality documentation Ensuring accurate tool sensitivity values in reports Producing run assessment reports Identifying pipeline obstructions Producing valid preliminary and final reports Communicating results to HO-DAD and integrating findings into reports Synchronizing coordinates with data Reporting software issues to R&D Updating documentation and procedures Executing additional tasks as assigned by team leaders Candidate Qualifications: College degree in engineering or related field Experience in database development and implementation Process analysis and requirement specification skills Database quality assurance and reporting experience Experience with large, complex databases Proficiency in analytical tools (Excel, Access, Minitab, SPSS) Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication English proficiency at a professional level Job Requirements: Ability to work at computers for extended periods Pass vision and color differentiation tests Willingness to travel for training, meetings, site visits, including international travel Flexible working hours based on project needs Ability to work independently or in teams Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Mobility to walk, climb, and access various environments Effective communication skills Focus and multitasking ability Willingness to wear safety equipment as required Physical reflexes and mobility for office and travel duties About PIPECARE Group:
