Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented part-time Visual Merchandiser to join our team. As Visual Merchandiser (VM), you work closely with the Director of Visual Merchandising & the store manager to implement, maintain, enforce & monitor our luxury visual standards. This role is all about creating a store environment that promotes our brand, showcases & moves our product & delights our customers. The ideal candidate has a well-developed understanding of The Webster visual presentation standards, has strong business acumen - effectively balancing aesthetics with productivity, is extremely creative and is an effective communicator & trainer.
Essential Duties
  • Work cross-functionally with corporate departments as a collaborative partner to gain awareness of the larger brand scope, provide insight on visual projects, support the Visual Director, Marketing, and Retail Operations
  • Design and implement visual merchandising strategies to highlight new arrivals, bestsellers, and promotional items
  • Create and maintain attractive, visually appealing store displays that align with The Webster's brand standards
  • Assist with brand partnership onsite activations
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure product placement maximizes sales and enhances customer experience
  • Monitor and maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of visual displays, including windows and in-store setups
  • Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives and make adjustments as needed
  • Maintain VM standards as per the Visual Merchandising Standards guideline
  • Ensure all visual merchandising activities comply with safety and accessibility standards
Qualifications and Eligibility
  • The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and is a problem-solver with excellent attention to detail
  • Brings a solution-oriented approach to challenges and roadblocks that may impede progress
  • Basic construction skills in building and assembly of visual props preferred
  • Adaptable on a variety of platforms for communication and visual presentation •
  • Comfortable with multiple tasks and projects at hand
  • Up to date on industry styles, best practices, and market movements
  • Previous experience in visual merchandising, including luxury or related field
  • Observance to The Webster's values, company mission, and brand strategy
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Back of House
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of stores physical inventories and actively participates in resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Actively contribute and support in non-selling activities and loss prevention initiatives
  • Replenish stock and maintain high standards of merchandise and product presentation
