Job Description

Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Litigation Attorney licensed to practice in both Virginia and Maryland. This is a remote-first position supported by our experienced administrative and legal staff based in Philadelphia. While the role is primarily remote, it does require regular travel throughout Virginia and Maryland to attend hearings. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation professional who thrives in an independent work environment and is comfortable managing a caseload with remote oversight. Candidates in the Washington D.C./Fairfax, VA area are particularly well-positioned for the travel requirements, though we are open to applicants from any location within VA or MD who are willing and able to travel as needed. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in court hearings and legal proceedings across Virginia and Maryland. Manage a litigation caseload independently from initial filing through resolution. Work closely with remote legal and administrative staff for case preparation and documentation. Communicate with clients and opposing counsel professionally and effectively. Maintain accurate records and case updates in accordance with firm policies. Travel regularly within VA and MD for court appearances. Requirements: Licensed and in good standing to practice law in both Virginia and Maryland. Minimum 2 years of litigation experience preferred (more or less experience will be considered). Ability to work independently and manage caseload remotely. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Willingness and ability to travel for hearings across Virginia and Maryland. Based in or near the D.C./Fairfax area is a plus, but not required. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience. Flexible remote work environment. Support from experienced legal staff based in the Philadelphia office. Opportunities for occasional in-office work in Philadelphia, if desired. Reimbursement for work-related travel. Additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process.
