What You’ll Do As a Process Engineer, you'll play a critical role in solving our customers’ biggest challenges by designing and optimizing display and semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work on some of the most advanced and challenging technologies in the world, shaping the way process engineering evolves for our business and the semiconductor industry. Process Engineers at Applied enjoy a diverse and exciting work experience—no two days are the same and the challenges are complex and interesting. You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects. Role Responsibilities: Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products Utilize techniques, define methods, and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a high number of complex systems for multiple products Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and create process engineering specifications Develop, plan, and execute process engineering projects, within safety guidelines Train engineers in measurement techniques of film properties and guide them in the interpretation of the data, new methodologies, troubleshooting techniques and issue resolution Communicate and engage with customers to resolve a broad spectrum of complex process engineering issues, with limited supervision Design and implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation Identify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliers with limited to no supervision Lead functional teams or projects, as needed Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 7-10 years of related experience Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving Seniority level
