Job Objective: Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Chief Plant Operator has full responsibility for the successful operation and maintenance of the assigned facility(s).

Pala Casino Resort and Spa Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Operate and maintain a wastewater treatment facility Supervise and manage operation & maintenance personnel assigned to the facility Manage implementation and utilization of the company Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for Asset Management Interact with regulatory agencies and clients Analyze and resolve process and equipment problems Review lab tests and interpret data Create and distribute reports for clients, regulatory bodies, and operations Prepare and coordinate regulatory programs Maintain compliance with permits Oversee process adjustments for compliance Perform other duties and support operations of other facilities as needed Understand contractual obligations and deliverables Manage the operations budget Client interface, including monthly meetings Prepare Monthly Operations Reports Manage Capital Replacement projects Facilitate facility tours Promote and adhere to safety programs Maintain acceptable attendance Report problems/issues to management Perform other tasks as assigned Requirements
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS Excellent teamwork and communication skills Physical ability to perform job duties, including climbing and confined space entry (training required) Willingness to travel is a plus Education, Credentials, and Experience
Grade III Wastewater Certification or higher At least 2.5 years supervisory experience Minimum 10 years water resource facility operations experience Valid driver's license Work Conditions
Indoor and outdoor environment at water reclamation facilities
