The Opportunity: Hundred Health is scaling rapidly, with our protocol at the heart of our product and business. As we expand, we need a Senior
Full-Stack Engineer
who can drive the quality and speed of iteration for our AI services, and interface seamlessly with our robust, modern tech stack. Youll work closely with backend, front-end, product, and data teams to: Rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate on new AI-powered features and workflows that integrate deeply with our AWS-native backend and data pipelines Orchestrate and optimize the end-to-end flow of data - across our TRPC-powered Next.js API, our high-volume NestJS API for third-party integrations, and our core Postgres SQL and S3 storage layers Proactively surface and deliver improvements to the quality, reliability, and transparency of our AI and data-driven outputs Collaborate across disciplines to ensure AI capabilities are leveraged to their full potential across web and mobile experiences This is a hands-on, high-velocity engineering role-ideal for someone who wants to see their work shipped and improved every day.
What You'll Do: Design and launch a cross-platform application for iOS, Android, and Web. Own and optimize the integration of AI workflows into our cloud-native AWS backend, ensuring rapid, reliable, and secure operation at scale. Work closely with our Next.js (TRPC) and NestJS API layers to build and refine endpoints that serve both user-facing and high-volume, data-ingest needs. Design, deploy, and iterate on AI and agentic workflows that leverage data from our Postgres (AWS RDS) databases and S3 storage-driving rapid, continuous improvement. Develop and run automated test suites, evaluation sets, and performance scoring for AI models and outputs, always focusing on reliability and transparency. Collaborate with front-end and mobile engineers (React/Next.js, React Native) to ensure AI-powered features are delivered seamlessly to users. Explore and recommend new models, tools, and approaches to optimize for RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) and leverage strengths of current frontier AI technologies. Document processes and edge cases, and share learnings to help the entire team move faster and more confidently. Champion a culture of daily iteration and continuous improvement-from model selection and prompt engineering to real-world deployment.
What Success Looks Like: New AI features and protocols are launched and improved on a rapid, predictable schedule - integrated tightly with our backend architecture. Our AI outputs are accurate, explainable, and robust - supported by strong testing, data pipelines, and storage/retrieval best practices. Our engineering, data, and product teams are deeply aligned and empowered to innovate, iterate, and deliver value. Bottlenecks are resolved quickly, and new opportunities for leveraging data and AI are surfaced and implemented. The reliability and sophistication of our AI protocol becomes a signature strength of Hundred Healths platform.

Skilled at integrating AI workflows with cloud-native architectures-especially AWS, scalable APIs (TRPC/Next.js, NestJS), Postgres, and S3. Experienced in: Understanding and leveraging the strengths of current-generation AI models, especially in healthcare Advanced prompt engineering, context management, and evals Using RAG and agentic workflows, with a focus on output quality and reliability is a plus Knowledgeable of software development approaches like DDD Knowledgeable of AWS as a developer Comfortable collaborating with front-end (React/Next.js) and mobile (React Native) engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions A strong communicator-able to document, share, and advocate for technical improvements across disciplines Energized by impact, motivated by curiosity, and committed to building systems that matter for real users Experience designing and architecting scalable, maintainable software systems Deep down you are a builder
