Senior Project Manager
to join our talented teams at our job site located in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will provide leadership on assigned projects and work to achieve financial, safety, and client relationship objectives. Position Responsibilities Manage the delivery of individual projects, ensuring achievement of cost, schedule, and quality objectives. Identify project and corporate risks and collaborate with Project Directors and the Director of Operations to mitigate them. Develop and maintain written preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans, obtaining review and approval from the Project Executive and/or Director of Operations, and communicate these to the project team. Work closely with the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent to monitor performance against the schedule and implement corrective actions for non-conformances. Monitor and report on project costs, including committed values, forecasts, allowances for growth, and actual expenditures. Assist Project Executives, the Director of Operations, and the General Manager in preparing project delivery proposals. Coordinate with the Construction Manager and Superintendents to ensure field events, conditions, exceptions, and issues are accurately reflected in cost reports. Manage changes to prime contracts, including change control documentation and related financial documentation. Coordinate with Accounting to invoice clients and manage Accounts Receivable to meet corporate goals. Collaborate with the financial team to address project financial issues. Oversee design content and coordinate design revisions for constructibility and compliance with basis documents, schedule, and budget. Prepare and manage subcontracts and purchase orders, including change control and financial documentation. Support project/client development with presentations and marketing activities. The salary for this role ranges from $102,000 to $136,000, depending on experience, skills, and education. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent technical degree. 10-15 years of experience in Project Delivery or a related field. Significant industry knowledge and leadership experience. Experience with life science projects is required. Context, Environment, & Safety This position requires approximately 25% travel, or as needed by the project. Extended periods at a client site may be necessary. Overnight travel or staying in the client’s city may be required depending on the assignment. Visits to client sites necessitate adherence to safety rules. This is a safety-sensitive position, acting as a supervisor for fieldwork involving IPS employees or subcontractors. All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required.
