Who We're Looking For
Toyota Financial Services Enterprise Tools team is seeking a passionate and highly motivated
Senior DevOps Software Engineer
to join us in building world-class platform engineering solutions. In this role, you will drive the development and enhancement of our CI/CD pipelines and container platforms, empowering our development teams to deliver innovative financial services efficiently and reliably. Reporting to the Enterprise Tools Manager, you will play a key role in advancing our technology strategy to create seamless, automated, and scalable infrastructure that supports our business goals.
What Youll Be Doing
Imagine a typical day where you lead the design and execution of cutting-edge DevOps solutions that streamline software delivery and improve developer productivity. Success means delivering robust automation and self-service platforms that accelerate innovation across Toyota Financial Services.
Own and execute technology initiatives focused on CI/CD pipelines and container platforms, ensuring high availability and scalability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance the employee and developer experience. Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices, continuously improving our technology stack. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of self-service automation tools that reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency. Provide expert guidance on automation best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Drive innovation by integrating container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and AWS Fargate into our CI/CD workflows. Partner with software engineers and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-native platforms.
What You Bring
Your background and skills will set you up for success in this role:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience providing a strong foundation in software engineering or related fields. 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native platforms and services, preferably on AWS. Mastery of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, including configuration, customization, and integration. Proven ability to automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes to boost efficiency. Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, Bash, or Groovy to customize and automate CI/CD workflows. Experience integrating containerization into CI/CD pipelines, including Docker image management and orchestration with Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or AWS Fargate. Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) principles applied to automation. Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, and EKS. Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and AWS CodeDeploy.

Advanced degree deepening your expertise in cloud computing, software engineering, or DevOps. Additional years of experience leading complex DevOps projects in large-scale environments.
