Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Functional Consultant

Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Functional Consultant Unison Systems is seeking a talented and experienced Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Functional Consultant (full-time / contract) to lead and support client implementations, configurations, and optimizations of Oracle's Transportation Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in OTM modules, logistics processes, and system integration to help clients streamline their transportation operations. The role involves acting as the expert in understanding and supporting Oracle OTM functionality and workflows within the Oracle OTM value stream. OTM is critical to transportation management and requires focus on ensuring all freight is processed correctly and continuously improved. The position will involve production support, enhancements, and participation in ERP/OTM-focused implementations at various sites. Understanding the integration between Oracle ERP and OTM platforms is essential. The candidate will also ensure adherence to global design standards for both projects and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities Resolve issues within the transportation management system (OTM) Monitor orders throughout the process Train and communicate best practices to prevent upstream issues affecting OTM Continuously improve the OTM solution Design and configure the OTM system Develop process flows, instructions, and test plans Test changes to OTM Manage change tickets Create training materials Perform regular maintenance of system configurations, automation agents, and data Manage user roles, configurations, and setup in conjunction with Security and Controls Additional Activities & Responsibilities Address Oracle OTM issues Configure Oracle Cloud OTM and understand ERP integrations Implement continuous improvement plans for OTM Test Oracle systems and related processes Design and document system solutions and specifications Interpret business requirements and prioritize accordingly Design business processes and create functional specifications Train users individually and in groups Design reports Coordinate with team members and stakeholders Collaborate on cross-functional activities Manage Oracle service requests Provide 24/7 support during production cutovers and go-live events Work with vendors Manage user access and controls within OTM
