Nuclear Medicine Technologist Per Diem

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs examinations according to established protocols while rendering safe and compassionate care to the patient. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is to assist the physician and/or other clinical staff in performing procedures by utilizing the skills and equipment specific to their profession. The value you'll bring to the team: Participates in an environment which ensures quality work, group morale and is conducive to keeping effective lines of communication. Capable of handling various aspects of the job simultaneously while maintaining a calm outward appearance. Possesses/demonstrates knowledge of emergency codes, location of emergency equipment and method of activation. Maintains radiation protection standards for patients, employees and oneself according to ALARA principles. Knowledge of all aspects of Nuclear Medicine exams & Nuclear Cardiology exams including therapeutic protocols/procedures, SPECT CT imaging and QA as required on all imaging and ancillary equipment. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: A graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
