AWS Compliance & Security Assurance is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Product Manager with a balance of product management experience, strong interpersonal skills, and technical depth to join our team. In this role, you will help to shape the vision for AWS's compliance landscape and how we deliver assurance externally. You are the bridge between our software development team and audit stakeholders, including AWS customers. You will lead and scale technical products oriented around security controls and assurance workflow automation. Description
AWS Compliance & Security Assurance is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Product Manager with a balance of product management experience, strong interpersonal skills, and technical depth to join our team. In this role, you will help to shape the vision for AWS's compliance landscape and how we deliver assurance externally. You are the bridge between our software development team and audit stakeholders, including AWS customers. You will lead and scale technical products oriented around security controls and assurance workflow automation.
The AWS Compliance & Security Assurance team is responsible for scaling AWS's ability to exceed the security and compliance expectations of our regulators, auditors, and customers globally. Our team engages directly with AWS service teams to bake security and compliance safeguards into their service offerings. We own driving highly complex security and compliance campaigns across AWS. We design and build services that stand up to the scrutiny of external regulators and inspection by AWS's most security-sensitive customers. We are a multidisciplinary team comprised of software engineers, security engineers, product managers, data engineers, and compliance specialists. As a Sr. Product Manager on our team, you will contribute to solving complex engineering problems as well as business problems. A successful candidate will demonstrate proven product management skills with experience understanding customer needs, building roadmaps and launching features that deliver value for large scale enterprise systems. The candidate will be comfortable managing competing priorities and be able to bring clarity and order to ambiguous scenarios. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering services for use by builders. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are important, as the candidate will frequently work with leadership and colleagues that cross organizational boundaries.
Key job responsibilities
Work effectively across organizational boundaries Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support planning and prioritization Collaborate with software development teams to design, scope, build and launch features Build, maintain and communicate the product roadmap and vision up to the VP level Balance competing priorities and make decisions that accelerate the team's velocity Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic Qualifications
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight MBA 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience Experience turning ambiguous ideas into products Excellent customer experience intuition to translate customer needs into crisp, detailed product requirements Ability to make trade-off decisions between customer experience and time-to-market Experience with cloud services and/or security

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
