Job Summary:
The
RTD Division Manager - Mountain West , leads the execution of Asahi Beer USA's strategic sales initiatives for the Twisted Shotz RTD brand and future innovations. Their primary focus will be relaunching Twisted Shotz in California and driving sales growth across the assigned territory (CO, AZ, NV, WA, HI, AK, OR, WY, MT, ID, ND, SD, NE). They will ensure distributor partners meet depletion targets, account penetration goals, and distribution objectives to support Asahi Beer USA's annual financial targets.

Job Responsibilities: Manage distributor relationships, including the development and implementation of local merchandising programs and ongoing performance evaluations. Direct distributor selling activities to achieve sales, distribution, and merchandising goals. Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with key retail accounts in the region, ensuring proper brand distribution, promotion, and shelf management. Key retailers include Spec's and Total Wine & More. Manage T&E expenses and local budgets for the market. Educate distributor sales staff. Maintain high visibility at the distributor office, meeting with sales representatives and management to ensure alignment with Asahi Beer USA's goals. Conduct product seminars at accounts and with the distributor sales team. Ensure compliance with National Account mandates and timely pricing requests. Stay informed about customer and consumer trends. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives. Maintain accurate records of distributor profiles, organizational structures, and competitive brand alignments. Stay updated on laws, regulations, and policies governing the market, and keep management informed of any changes. This remote role requires a base location in California with up to 50% travel throughout the rest of the assigned territory.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Minimum of five years of experience in the distilled spirits, wine, or beer supplier/distributor industry. Preference for candidates with distributor management experience (SGWS, Reyes Beverage Group, RNDC or Breakthru) and regional account management, particularly to those with direct experience in launching brands within regional chains in California. Required Skills/Abilities:
Customer-centric with strong negotiation and business expansion skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficient with distributor databases for communication and business analytics. Knowledgeable in sales and marketing principles, including strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques, and control systems. Strong understanding of customer service principles, including needs assessment, quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation. Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions. Strong analytical skills, capable of gathering and presenting data from various sources. Effective managerial and presentation skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to travel within the state territory.
