Job Description

Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Eastern North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including chillers, air handlers, boilers, and rooftop units. • Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues to minimize downtime for clients. • Conduct inspections and provide detailed reports on equipment conditions and recommendations for repairs or upgrades. • Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards. • Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to clients and supervisors.

Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial and industrial HVAC service. • EPA Certification • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to HVAC equipment. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications: • Training or certifications from major HVAC manufacturers (e.g., Carrier, Trane, York). • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls. • Experience with energy management systems (EMS) and building automation systems (BAS).
