As we continue to grow, were looking for a Licensed Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. Position Summary: The Licensed Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker is responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal products used in heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and exhaust. This role requires to work independently or as part of a team, and comply with local codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components including ducts, vents, and plenums. Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as plasma cutters, shears, press brakes and welding gear. Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets. Modify and fit components in tight spaces to conform with specifications. Plan the layout of ductwork or other sheet metal systems before starting work. Explain the plan to the team so everyone knows what to do and how to do it safely and correctly. Find and fix problems in existing sheet metal systems. Do regular checks to keep systems running smoothly. Always follow safety guidelines and wear proper gear.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Completed a sheet metal apprenticeship. Must have a valid Journeyman License. Valid drivers license and good driving record. Must be comfortable working with HVAC duct systems and ventilation projects.

Other Requirements: Must be willing to have a background check. Can lift heavy equipment. Must be able to work in different positions: standing, kneeling, crouching, etc. Comfortable working in tight spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and at heights. Must be able to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts as needed. Willing to work indoors or outdoors in all types of weather.

Skills: Skilled in cutting, welding, soldering, and shaping sheet metal. Knows how to safely use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machines. Friendly, respectful, and professional when speaking with customers or clients. Works well with others and communicates clearly with the crew. Can think on your feet to find safe and smart solutions on the job. Able to stay on schedule and complete tasks efficiently. Focuses on doing high-quality work that meets code and looks clean. Comfortable using Service Titan to access job info, complete forms, clock in/out, and update job status.

Compensations: $40 - $50 hour, depending on experience and licensing.

Hours of Work: Monday Friday: 7:00 3:00 On-Call Rotation: Every 4th Weekend
