Position: Forklift Driver

Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager

Shift: 1st Shift

FLSA: Non-exempt

Position Overview: The forklift operator replenishes all products as selection inventory depletes. Forklift operators work with the inventory supervisor, warehouse leads and management to ensure inventory concerns are addressed, product replenished quickly for selectors, and the rotation of stock is completed daily. Required Skills & Abilities Experience with Electric Jacks and Forklifts required

Ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Possess excellent communication skills with co-workers and external customers

Computer savvy, experience with BusyDo/ERP a plus

Follow safety guidelines and policies

Physical Requirements The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly

The ability to respond quickly to sounds

The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces

The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations

Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading materials from vehicles.

Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility.

Checking loads are secure.

Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.

Work on Electric Jacks and Forklifts

Required to rotate stock as necessary to maintain Safe Quality Foods (SQF)

Fill pick slots as depleted by selectors to minimize shortages for the stores

Put away and store all frozen deliveries

Minimum Requirements Must be 18 yrs. or over

1 year experience with Electric Jacks and Forklifts required

Previous experience unloading trucks required

Proficiency in RF scanners.

Work Schedule & Conditions Work week is Sunday-Friday

1st shifts start 5AM

Must be able to work in cold environments and on concrete floors.
