Senior Administrative Assistant
Under general supervision, performs administrative and office management support functions of a complex nature for a city manager, OR supervises staff performing office, clerical and/or administrative functions, and performs related duties as required. Essential Duties: Enter all relevant ID badge applicant information into Pro-Watch. Process new company registration, new signatory, and removal or addition of a new signatory. Process vehicles permit with due diligence. Process financial reports daily as well as process citation hearings and assist with administrative hearing process. Prepare hearing report at the end of each court date. Assist customers that come to the compliance office for various services. Take fingerprints of ID badge applicants. Take a photo of the ID badge applicant. Screen ID badge application for required information and signatures. Serve as 'Proctor' for advance driver testing. Serve as 'Proctor' for SIDA video training. Telephonically coordinate with CBP agent regarding hologram approval/removal. Confirm the applicant's identity via two acceptable forms of ID. Print ID badge. Greet applicants and thank them for coming. Process ID badge applicants as a special group. Be available to work overtime as assigned by the supervisor. Additional duties may be required for this position. Location: Chicago Midway International Airport Division: Administration I.D. Badging Division Days Off: Saturday and Sunday Shift: Monday-Friday Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM This position is in the career service. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Three years of administrative, office assistant or secretarial experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Note: A valid State of Illinois driver's license is required. Note: The candidates selected for hire must pass an airport background check and a Security Threat Assessment. Note: May be required to work late some nights. Selection Requirements: This position requires bidders/applicants to successfully complete an interview which will include a universal assessment. The interviewed candidate(s) who possess the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected.
