*Bilingual Candidates Encouraged to Apply *EOE M/F/D/V *Union/Non-Union Job Summary: Provide leadership for their portion of Gandara’s Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative, whose mission is to strengthen, expand and integrate a comprehensive system of community- based, culturally competent behavioral health and complementary services for children with serious emotional and behavioral health needs, along with their families. Duties and Responsibilities: Client Services Responsibilities Support the Program Director to achieve program objectives. Ensure each position is staffed and trained appropriately and the teams operate per guidelines and achieve agreed to family caseloads and hours of service contact, per week per family. The SCC may support CCs by meeting with families as necessary to resolve issues and provide support. Role models and coaches the values and principles of the wraparound process. Provides support, feedback and problem solving to Care Coordinators. In conjunction with the Supervisors, instructs new and existing staff regarding Specialized CSA requirements. Provides coaching for staff individually and at Care Planning Team (CPT) meetings. Helps plan and conduct team meetings and trainings. Ensures support and crisis/emergency services for the youth/family. Expected to do face-to-face contacts and phone contacts during working hours. Performs other duties as assigned by Director. Responsibilities/Record

Keeping Ensures policies and procedures are adhered to including reviewing documentation for accuracy, including Progress Notes, CANS, Individual Care Plans (ICP’s), Out-of-Home Care Authorizations,

Transitional/Disenrollment

Plans, Community Safety Plans for families, etc. Helps Supervisees utilize reports and data to continuously improve the care provided. Requirement to keep current on all Agency, Government and Funding trainings and health requirements (OSHA, Sexual Harassment, etc) To attend all training and meetings as requires by the funder of the agency. To review and complete time sheets, mileage forms etc. and submit them accurately and in a timely manner. Assist, coordinate, and support identified department grants or special projects. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Ability to work with the target population. Ability to structure and organize job responsibilities with minimal supervision. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills. Displays sound judgment. Ability to provide goal-oriented services. Works well as a team member. Bilingual (Spanish/English) Minimum Qualifications: Hold Independent License (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC-1) Master’s Degree in a human services field (preferred) and one year of experience working with the target population. Wraparound work experience preferred. Experience with children and youth, strength-based, family centered and child focused services; Demonstrated ability to be innovative, creative, analytical and decisive in problem solving. Demonstrated communications, administrative and organizational capabilities. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community agencies: School Dept., DYS, Juvenile Court, etc. Understanding/willingness

to be part of a Program that supports youth and families 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. Must have a driver’s license and availability of vehicle to support Program needs.
