Aerospace Shipping And Receiving Clerk
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping And Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate and timely movement of materials, parts, and finished goods in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials Coordinate with production and quality departments to ensure timely delivery of finished goods Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely Label and organize inventory in designated storage areas Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Preferred Qualifications 12 years of experience in shipping/receiving in aerospace, manufacturing, or production. (aerospace is preferred) Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems Experience with using ERP Systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Forklift certification a plus Pay and Shift This position is located in Compton, CA The pay may range anywhere from $17.50-20/hr (depending on experience) Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Compton, CA.
