**Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Oneida County for immediate placement. This position offers a flexible day schedule with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The work schedule includes alternating 4 x 10-hour shifts and 5 x 8-hour shifts, ensuring a maximum of 5 workdays per week. Nurses are required to work 6 call shifts and 1 to 2 weekends per month.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. - Collaborate with the medical team to ensure comprehensive patient assessments and care planning. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures and outcomes. - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. - Educate patients and families on procedures, aftercare, and health maintenance.
**Qualifications:** - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in endoscopy or a related specialty, with specific experience in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) required. - Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
**Schedule Details:** - Monday to Friday, with flexible start times between 7 AM and 9 AM. - Guaranteed 40 hours per week. - 6 call shifts per month and 1-2 weekends per month.
**Contract Information:** - 89-week contract duration with guaranteed hours.
