We are seeking a Board-Eligible (BE) General Cardiologist for an ongoing, long-term locum position starting as soon as possible. This role is crucial to cover our inpatient cardiology service while we conduct a permanent search. The position includes both in-house shifts and call responsibilities.
- Specialty: Cardiology - General
- Coverage Type: Call + Clinic
- Schedule:
- Shifts: 12 or 24-hour shifts (6 a.m. - 6 p.m. or 6 a.m. - 6 a.m.).
- 12-hour shifts: In-house coverage.
- 24-hour shifts: 12 hours in-house and 12 hours on call.
- Call: 1-2 nights per week. This is a consultative service, primarily handling phone calls from hospitalists or regional transfer facilities.
- Responsibilities:
- Rounding on inpatient cardiology patients with the support of an APP.
- Reading inpatient echoes and nuclear studies.
- Performing inpatient TEEs.
- Patient Volume: 10-20 patients per day on shift.
- Minimum Board Certification: Board-Eligible (BE)
