Fire Alarm Technician

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, programming, wiring, testing, and repair of commercial and industrial fire alarm systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Please review the qualifications carefully before applying. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and program fire alarm systems according to project specifications and local code requirements. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on existing fire alarm systems to ensure compliance and functionality. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to layout fire alarm systems accurately. Collaborate effectively with electricians, project managers, and other team members to complete projects on schedule. Conduct routine inspections and testing to verify system performance and code compliance. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all work performed. Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are followed at all times. Qualifications & Certifications: Minimum of

3 years

experience working specifically with fire alarm systems installation, programming, and repair.. Edwards certification

strongly preferred. Proficient in reading and interpreting detailed electrical drawings and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to fire alarm systems. Clean and valid driver's license with a good driving record. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA 72 and local fire codes. Experience with multiple fire alarm brands and control panels. Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed, and work in varied job site conditions.
