Senior Fullstack Engineer (Founding Team)
Location: Brooklyn, NY (On-site, 5 days/week)
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $170,000 – $220,000 base + 0.1% – 0.9% equity
Visa: H-1B transfers available (no new sponsorship)
About the Role
We’re building the secure AI infrastructure layer for enterprise and government customers—and we’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our founding team in Brooklyn. You'll help scale a product that’s already driving 7-figure ARR with significant month-over-month growth , backed by a fresh $10M+ raise and clear market validation.
As we move beyond MVP, this role is critical in designing and building a scalable, performant architecture while preserving our industry-leading security standards . You’ll work across the stack, contribute to product direction, and help shape the technical foundation of the company.
What You’ll Do
Own and evolve core product systems across frontend and backend
Help transition from MVP to a robust, secure production-grade architecture
Collaborate closely with product and leadership to define features, performance goals, and user experiences
Mentor junior engineers and uphold a high bar for code quality and technical decision-making
Work across our modern AI stack, supporting real-world use cases for enterprise and government clients
Role Responsibilities
LLM & AI Platform Development : Improve our Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system by experimenting with foundational LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Gemini) and search techniques.
Developer API Enhancements : Expand and refine our APIs for developer usability and enterprise integration—optimize performance, expand features, and simplify developer workflows.
Frontend Product Engineering : Work on our React/Next.js frontend to deliver fast, intuitive, and visually consistent UI for our enterprise users.
Data Platform Engineering : Scale and optimize our ingestion pipelines, embedding systems, and transformations to support generative AI across massive, customer-specific datasets.

Cloud & Infra: AWS, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes
Data Infrastructure: dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Snowflake (bonus)
Experience:
5–10 years of professional engineering experience, with recent roles in fullstack development
Prior work at a fast-growing startup or highly regulated SaaS company
Demonstrated impact—e.g. took a product from 0 → 1 , or stayed through Seed → Series B
Experience owning major projects end-to-end in high-growth, high-ownership environments
Bonus: Early-stage or founding team experience
Education:
Degree in Computer Science or related field, preferably from a top-tier university
Skills:
Proficiency across React, TypeScript, Next.js , and PostgreSQL
Experience working with AI/LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Anthropic)
Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure , Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, Helm)
Ability to work in a security-conscious, highly regulated environment is a strong plus
Salary Range: $170,000-$220,000 base.
