We are seeking C++ Software Engineers to join our team in Chicago. In this role, you will focus on building and optimizing our automated trading infrastructure. You will collaborate directly with our Traders and Quants to develop the next generation of trading algorithms and strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and developing scalable multi-tiered applications. Our Software Engineers work in small, collaborative teams and play a vital role in our success.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in C++ application development, with at least 3 years of experience in C++ 11, ideally in high-availability systems with stringent latency requirements
  • Proficient in C++ 11/14/17/20, Linux, and scripting languages such as Python and BASH
  • Extensive knowledge of the Linux kernel and systems programming
  • A strong passion for tackling complex problems
  • Solid understanding of systems, with experience in developing low-latency systems preferred
  • Familiarity with writing applications that connect to exchange APIs or use network protocols
  • Experience in parallel, concurrent, and multi-threaded programming
  • Preferred experience in low-latency computing and hardware-level design
  • Proficient with version control systems like Git, SVN, or Mercurial
