Mobile Solutions Architect
in Atlanta, starting as a 6-month contract with potential extension. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Kotlin, with an in-depth understanding of mobile architecture and design patterns, and a proven track record in developing and optimizing complex mobile applications. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers to deliver top-quality apps, employing best practices in performance, design, and testing. Key Responsibilities
Design & Development: Build and maintain Android and iOS applications using Kotlin, focusing on high-performance architecture. Mobile Engineering Expertise: Leverage 12+ years of native mobile engineering experience to deliver scalable solutions for Android. Architectural Patterns: Implement CLEAN architecture, SOLID principles, and other best practices for modular, maintainable codebases. SDK & Frameworks: Utilize Android SDK, Android Studio, and Google Android design principles. Jetpack Components: Use Android Jetpack components for lifecycle management, navigation, and data handling. Complex Application Development: Lead large-scale, complex app development ensuring robustness, testability, and maintainability. Data Persistence: Use Room and DataStore for Android data storage and iOS equivalents. Testing & Quality Assurance: Apply TDD practices focusing on unit and UI testing. Multi-Device Compatibility: Support phones and tablets across iOS and Android in various orientations. Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize app performance with tools like Android Profiler and Xcode Instruments. Version Control & CI/CD: Collaborate using Git, SourceTree, Jenkins, and other tools to streamline development. Required Skills
8+ years in Android development 7+ years leading development teams Proficiency in Kotlin and deep understanding of mobile architecture Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack, REST APIs, and testing practices Knowledge of memory management, error handling, and app optimization Nice to Have
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments Knowledge of MVVM or MVP architectures Experience with Firebase or Crashlytics Pay Range
