Job Summary: As a CNC Route Operator, you will be an essential member of the manufacturing team, contributing to the success of our operations. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented operator who will be responsible for operating router tables and moving sign components throughout production. Duties and Responsibilities: Operating CNC Routers:
Proficiently operate CNC routers to cut and fabricate materials for signage. Signage Fabrication:
Participate in general sign fabrication and associated tasks. Material Handling:
Load and unload materials, rotate them on and off CNC tables, and stage sign components. File Management:
Set up files and maintain CNC router programs. Quality Control:
Ensure the quality of the finished products, identifying and addressing any issues. Safety:
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols. Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the production process. Blueprint Interpretation:
Read, interpret, and understand design drawings. Machine Setup:
Set up the CNC router, including loading materials and selecting the appropriate tools. Programming:
Enter design specifications into the machine, instructing it on the operations to perform. Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on the CNC router. Coordination:
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow. Qualifications: Certificate or diploma in the related field is an advantage.
3 years' experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut files.
Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
Good computer and mathematical skills.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Able to bend, stretch, push, and pull.
Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
