Senior Accountant Full Time Role Dallas, NC Here's how you'll become a key player with this opportunity: The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing core accounting functions with a focus on manufacturing cost analysis. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains inventory valuation, analyzes production costs, and works with cross-functional teams to support decision-making, budgeting, and operational efficiency. Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team: Partner with the Controller and Director of Finance to manage accounting processes and contribute to strategic financial planning Track and record manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead Maintain accurate inventory valuation and conduct periodic reconciliations to ensure accuracy Prepare profitability analyses by product, customer, or business unit to inform business strategy and pricing decisions Support general ledger functions, including accounts payable and receivable, with proper coding and documentation in the ERP system Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring and one-time entries related to inventory, standard costs, and account adjustments Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings by preparing reconciliations and required schedules Assist internal and external audits by providing accurate cost and financial documentation in a timely manner Help develop and maintain internal controls related to inventory, costing, and financial accuracy Use the ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC 14) to manage accounting data, complete reconciliations, and produce reports Contribute to cross-functional projects that support financial planning, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency Perform additional accounting duties as assigned to support business objectives Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Solid understanding of cost and inventory accounting principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC, SAP, Oracle) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data clearly Self-motivated and collaborative, able to work independently and with cross-functional teams Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually Ready to take the next step?
