The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited AMA school, possessing either the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification or the Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification. This position requires the ability to provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients, following the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal and pelvic scans (gynecological and obstetrical), as well as transvaginal sonograms.- Proficiently execute scanning of small parts, such as thyroid, breast, and scrotum.- Conduct ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures completed.- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure quality patient care.- Adhere to safety protocols and departmental policies. Requirements: - Current ARDMS certification or registry eligible.- BLS certification (AHA or ARC).- Experience in vascular and general ultrasound, as well as obstetrical procedures.- Must be able to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.- Capable of handling a patient ratio of 8-10 during a 12-hour shift.- Candidates must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for travel positions.- Candidates must be able to start ASAP.
