License: State license required in hand. Certifications: ARRT(R), BLS Must-Have: - Must have prior travel experience. Description: X-Ray Tech position available for day shifts with varied start times. Candidates must have previous charge experience. Experience with a charting system is required. Preferred experience includes community hospital and trauma level I or II. Skills required include, but are not limited to: abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine (KUB), abdomen upright, AC joints, adult acute care, pediatric acute care, bedside/portable procedures, and trauma cases. Candidates should have skills in eras, including portable abdomen and chest X-rays, as well as the preparation and administration of contrast media. Good knowledge of radiation safety and infection prevention is essential. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams will be part of the role. Call will be required on a rotation basis, depending on staffing needs. Candidates should be prepared to take holiday shifts on a rotation as well. References from previous supervisors are required after the offer. Local candidates are accepted with specified terms.
