Job Description The QA Technician assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing practice systems; validating processes; providing documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work in a fast paced environment pulling samples from plant floor Set up and perform multiple quality tests. Measure samples Accurately compile statistical data Construct charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel Perform process capability analyses using Statistical Software Prepare reports on testing results. Define problems and report all issues with material to management for analysis and disposition. Work may require individual to enter plant areas where performance factors such as: Controlled environment, heat, humidity, noise, lifting of materials and working around equipment will be encountered. Other research or related activities as deemed necessary. Qualifications & Requirements
4-5 Years Experience in a high paced manufacturing Quality Role preferred. Certified by ASQ (American Society for Quality) preferred. Experience with ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings. Proficient in process improvement, data collection, analysis and presentation. Strong communication skills Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 knowledge preferred.
