CNC Machinist Responsibilities: Operate several CNC machines, loading bars of material, monitoring operation & taking measurements, while making quality parts, safely as part of a team Maintain quality assurance procedures and processes, performing quality audits Maintain equipment and supplies Maintain product specifications by observing machining operations, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls, replacing worn tools Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and housekeeping Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in Swiss-style CNC Machining. Experience with Citizen machines is preferred but not necessary. Familiarity with blue prints Basic math skills, including decimals and ability to convert between inches and metric measurements. Algebra and geometry are a plus! Knowledge of metals and materials, including but not limited to steel, stainless steel, and copper, and their machine-ability and ability to use measuring equipment (micrometers, Dial or Digital Calipers, Optical comparator) Maintain clear and legible documentation on all work orders and job-related paperwork Demonstrated initiative and improvement mindset a must; Familiarity with quality concepts, such as in-process auditing and lean manufacturing Proven track record of reliability, dependability, maturity, attention to detail, and ability to learn

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift (typically 10 hours) Ability to lift and carry materials or parts weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to maintain a strong grip for tasks such as tightening components, using hand tools and lifting or positioning materials. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating CNC machinery and measuring tools Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed for machine operation and setup
