Seeking a Mid-Level Cyber Risk Analyst to identify threats, evaluate vulnerabilities, and develop risk mitigation plans. This role blends technical expertise with stakeholder collaboration and strategic guidance. Work is on-site primarily in Reston, VA, with potential support at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Description
Security Clearance: TS/SCI in DISS required.
Minimum Requirements:
•3+ years in a professional IT environment
•3+ years in cybersecurity and A&A supporting DoD environments
•Experience leading DoD ATO packages, performing Assessment & Authorization (A&A) and RMF, and conducting risk assessments for DoD systems in AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud
•TS/SCI clearance
•Security+ DoD 8570 Level II Certification
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform technical evaluations and security control assessments in cloud-native and containerized environments
•Lead and manage DoD ATO packages, SSPs, POA&Ms, SAPs, and continuous monitoring activities
•Interface with engineering teams to align DevSecOps pipelines with cybersecurity policies
•Advise stakeholders on cloud security strategies, container orchestration security (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher), and platform hardening
Skills and Proficiencies:
•Compliance testing tools: ACAS, SCAP, STIGs/SRGs, eMASS, Xacta
•Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and artifact generation
•Experience with DevSecOps, Path-to-Production, and CI/CD pipelines
•Administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or Windows Server 2012+
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
Additional Information:

•Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT required
