Job Description:
As a Microsoft Applications Developer (.NET/Power Platform), you will support the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team in modernizing Client operations and delivering data reporting solutions. This role involves designing and developing .NET and Power Platform applications, supporting the transition to Microsoft Azure, and contributing to various public health initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient application development aligned with business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assignments and track progress against timelines Plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work efforts with EDW and other teams Participate in status, process, and deliverable reviews with stakeholders Gather and analyze business and technical requirements Develop and implement solutions using Power Platform and .NET technologies Participate in testing and troubleshooting of implemented solutions Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and customer representatives Deliver presentations and maintain documentation on project SharePoint sites Maintain procedural documentation and technical reports
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
More than 5 years of experience in application development Advanced experience with Power Apps including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps Experience with Power Automate and custom connectors Understanding of Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Pages, and Dataverse Proficiency with SQL Server databases, T-SQL, scripts, and queries Experience with Visual Studio and .NET languages such as C# and ASP.NET Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Synapse Ability to translate requirements into optimized designs and solutions Experience in testing, deployment, and technical support Strong documentation skills including diagrams, flowcharts, and manuals Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns Knowledge of software development security best practices Familiarity with relational and dimensional databases, star schema concepts Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively and present technical concepts effectively
Preferred Experience:
Experience in public health or healthcare industry with health applications and data
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
