Top-Tier Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking an AVP - Portfolio Manager for their Corporate Banking team!

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, analyzing and reporting the asset quality across a wide range of industries within the Corporate Banking portfolio
• Produce periodic portfolio overview and analysis
• Conduct account portfolio monitoring, identify emerging risks, and provide risk analysis with Relationship Manager
• Conduct and monitor portfolio analytics to assess credit performance and trends across various credit risk dimensions (credit rating, industries/sectors, structures, geographies, credit policy exceptions, and covenant exceptions, etc.)
• Identify early warning signs of risk and escalating as needed
• Monitor and maintain portfolio to adhere to applicable credit policies and compliance requirements
• Discuss and propose risk mitigation/reduction strategies with Team Leaders and Relationship Managers
• Keep senior management and Relationship Manager abreast with the latest economic and market updates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or related fields
• 3+ years of experience in corporate credit analysis or portfolio management
• Excel modeling, PowerPoint, and other data mining financial modeling skills
