LHH is working with a rapidly growing Non-Profit company located in San Francisco who is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join the team. As a company, they are committed to providing a positive change in the community. They are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Process and reconcile bank transactions, credit card statements, and expense reports
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist with the annual audit and tax return preparation
- Support the development of the annual budget and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with a larger ERP system
